Product group: Handling technology / robotics
Q-Fin Handling Solutions was developed with the aim of relieving the users of Q-Fin machines. The machine builder in Bergeijk wants to offer complete solutions for picking up the sheet metal parts, deburring, rounding and finishing in the machine, and subsequent depositing. For this purpose, they have now developed the RC1200 robotic cell.
At Blechexpo 2023, Q-Fin will present a fully automated setup to the wider public for the first time, the RC1200. Robots play a crucial role here, as they pick up the sheet metal parts fully automatically from a pallet and then place them on the feed conveyor of the Q-Fin deburring machine. After this, the sheet metal parts are guided and processed through the deburring machine fully automatically. An indispensable element in this setup and in the automation process of handling the sheet metal parts around the machine is the use of 3D vision technology. This allows sheet metal parts, even if they have complex contours and/or many holes, are large or small, thick or thin, to be quickly and accurately recognized and picked up. The RC1200 cell can also be easily fed with pallet with products that is automatically put in by an AGV robot and taken out again at the back.
In addition to facilities such as robots, reversing stations, return conveyors and lifting aids, the deburring process as well as the handling must be integrated software-wise into the customer's production process. An essential prerequisite for this is the comprehensive software configuration of the deburring machines, a feature that is already present in Q-Fin's machines, making them "Industry 4.0 ready."
Q-Fin would like to invite you to Hall 5, Stand number 5407 where all novelties can be seen working. Potential customers can also come to Bergeijk with their own products for extensive testing by appointment.
